Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23).Some define thoughts as imaginations, but thoughts are more than imaginations. Imaginations are pictures or images of the mind that interpret your thoughts. Thoughts are powerful; they can deliver to you a glorious life, or keep you on the sideline of life. The Bible says as a man thinks in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:7). You’re the character of your thoughts.
When therefore I have performed this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will come by you into Spain. And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ (Romans 15:28-29).Years ago, as I studied the words of the Apostle Paul in our opening scripture, I was elated that it’s possible for one to have the fullness of the blessing of the Gospel of Christ. This wasn’t only for Paul and the rest of the Apostles, but for all of us Christians: it’s possible to walk in the fullness of the blessings of the Gospel. What does this mean? It means to walk in the fullness of your inheritance in Christ.
Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold (Proverbs 8:10).Spiritual instructions may come to you in the most unexpected or unusual way, but be prompt to obey. Never try to rationalize spiritual instructions with your mind; the wisdom of God is foolishness to men.
When I was starting out in business, nearly 30 years ago, I was made to believe that the best partners, were those people in powerful positions, who had the ability to open big doors. Being a young entrepreneur, there were many powerful people, who offered themselves, to be my "sleeping partners",or "godfathers"; to whom I could go, if I had trouble with anyone, in "the system".As many of you are aware, I was not born into a Christian family. I became a Christian by choice, when I was already a well established businessman. It was a deep personal decision, and this is not the platform to discuss, that issue. However, having made this decision, I threw myself with total fervor, often reading the bible, back to back, several times a year, as I tried to "come up to speed", with my new found faith.
O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? (Galatians 3:1-3).
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever (2 Corinthians 9:8-9).Your relevance to the spread of the Gospel of Christ is one of the major reasons God channels prosperity your way. The Bible says there’s more joy in heaven over a sinner that repents than over ninety-nine saints that need no repentance (Luke 15:7). This is about the only time we’re informed in Scripture of something that causes rejoicing amongst the angels in heaven: soul-winning. This lets you know how important soul-winning is.
And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee:for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities (Isaiah 64:7).The Prophet Isaiah was speaking to God in the verse above. Israel was in dire straits because none sought the Lord; no one stirred himself up to "take a hold" of God. That means, as Christians, we can stir ourselves up to take a hold of God, to take a hold of His words, and make them real in our lives, through prevailing prayers.
