ICLC 2014 NOTES

ICLC 2014
DAY 1 -EVENING SESSION
PASTOR CHRIS

INTRODUCTION
The Kingdom of God we belong to is a real kingdom. We haven't been given some fables. It is something very real. Last year, we had some important lines to take with us from the conference. Am sure you remember every tree a forest. And each one of us have been programmed to be productive in his own way.

From tonight the spirit of God will stir you in a special way. I love what the Lord tells us. Not by might, not by power but by the Spirit of God. One word from God could change you forever. As you listen to the word, the testimonies, seminars, songs and talk shows there will be something special in each part of it .If you give it the right attention you will be amazed were God will take you. God is passionate about having you fulfil your destiny in Him. Its the most important thing in life.

THE MAN, THE MESSAGE AND THE MANDATE

Tonight I'm going to share with you The Man,The Message and The Mandate. We are here because of the Man,The Message and The Mandate.

"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity." (1 Timothy 2:5-7).

First, its about the man Jesus. Who He is, our conviction of his personality, origin and purpose. That's why we are gathered here.

There are no two mediators and there is only one God. There may be many that are called gods but there is only one God. There's no other way for human beings-Jesus- One who reconciles men to God , one who bridges the gap, one who makes peace and friendship between God and men. And there's enough motivation to preach the Gospel.

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12).

I am convinced that there is no salvation in no other. And I'm stirred by that thought. Man is doomed without Jesus. And we can't continue to act as though there's another and keep quiet. And we cannot wait to long to save souls. There's a God that they cannot see, know and approach.

Acts 17:10
"And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews." (Acts 17:10).
These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so." (Acts 17:11).

He was comparing two people of Thessalonica and Barea. They both had different response to the word.

What made them noble? They received the word with all readiness of mind. They looked into the scriptures to verify whether it was true. They prepared their minds to receive the word. The prophets of old used to tell the people to prepare their hearts for the word.

They were voracious for the word. The other people in Thessalonica argued in their minds. They weren't ready for the word.

But you are different.

Confession: I receive Gods word with all readiness of mind.

...Who gave himself a ransom.A ransom for us.He paid a debt I coulnnt pay.And I got to tell others because they don't know. Someone has got to tell them.

We dare call him a man but He lived in such a way that we could call him truely man and truely God.He was a consumate man and everything thing God wanted a man to be.

Did you hear him pray? No man pray like him.He prayed differently from the pharasees. He spoke with such staggering confidence. And one time it was so amazing the audicity with which he prayed as he said I thank God that you here me.Oh dear God could I talk like that.

In the boat he stunned the dissiples. At this one time, they were scared to the bones,. But the muster turned to the waging waves and said 'Peace'. The disciples wondered where they were.

At another time, they see one like ghost coming walking on water.Peter said Master can I walk on water too? And he did. What manner of man is this. How can we explain this.Who can we retell.

He opened blind eyes, raised the dead, replaced amputated legs.As if that was not all.At the night when he was betrayed, Judas comes with soldiers. Jesus stepped out and asks who do you seek? They couldn't know who was Jesus.

They all looked alike. So Judas comes out and hugs him. Judas as he called in love ask him,'You betray a man with a kiss?' And they fell. They expected Jesus to flee but He doesn't. He doesn't struggle with them. Can a man so powerful give himself to his adversaries. Those he had healed now persecute him.

He is sent to Pilate and He asks whether he could be released. They said no. Pilate was surprised. They wanted Barabas in the place of Jesus. Pilate then gives Jesus away to be crucified.

We thought we had seen a marvel. Wait.
They nailed him to the cross. With his nails and feet bleeding he was raised. They were waiting for him to perform a miracle.

All those who knew the scriptures remebered the scriptures.

"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all." (Isaiah 53:6).

Judas could nt believe Jesus was giving himself to die.The others thought, maybe the last moment. Then they heard Jesus say It is finished. "If its finished come down" they thought. No !Then he says Father into your hands I commend my spirit.

He's dead.A roman soldier thrushed a spear into Jesus side.Blood and water gushed out.He was trully dead.

On that cross the most powerful line he had made was" Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing". He could stand in the presence of his enemies and ask for forgiveness.

Brothers and sisters. There's is only one man and one mediator. The Man Jesus.

Lift up your hands and thank Him.

ICLC 2014 - Day 2 (Morning)Rev. Tom - Your Divine Responsibility

God chose you to be a cell leader. If you recognize that, you will function better.

John 15:16 KJV [16] Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

You are chosen of The Lord. Ordained of The Lord. We are ordained unto productivity. In other words to bring forth fruit. So we cannot be barren, small. See yourself as the one God has chosen, it will make a whole lot of difference. We are to produce lasting results. You win souls into the church they stay. It's not a wish, we are anointed for that.

You are a stakeholder in the gospel of Christ. Therefore you a stakeholder in the believers love-world nation. That you are cell leader is very serious. You have a responsibility and a ministry to fulfill.

Colossians 4:17 KJV [17] And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.

Even though you give report to PFCC, you are directly accountable to God. He is looking at your heart. The regard that you have for this responsibility and how you go about it.

The growth of the church is the responsibility of the cell leaders as much as it's that of the pastor. The cell leader has a pastoral ministry. You have a responsibility to lead Gods people to live the life that God has called them to live. It's like that of a parent. When you are raising children you raise them with purpose. Those princes that become kings are raised. Every parent should raise the children. If you don't teach them what God expects you to teach them...has failed God.

A cell leader has the responsibility to raise members to become responsible members of the body of Christ. Parents teach children how to walk, talk, read... If a child is left to himself, he would not grow up properly. The house of God is the ground (foundation) and pillar (support) of truth (reality).

You don't teach them how you feel or what you think. You reach the word of God. The people you won to Christ are not your property, they are just put under your care. It's your responsibility to raise them up for God.

We lead people to Christ, and start training and nurturing them, so they can become what God wants them to be.

1 Peter 5:2 KJV [2] Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof , not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; [3] Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. [4] And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

You have to heart the heart of a shepherd who cares for the sheep. Willing to risk your life for the sheep. You raise people deliberately, not unconsciously. What do you want them to be, to turn out. You feed them the right material.

We are to raise our members as ministers of reconciliation to their world. The cell leaders life should be an exemplary life. Then you can inspire others.

1 Timothy 4:12 KJV [12] Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Your members should notice your passion for Christ. It's not in singing. If you have the passion for Christ, it will control your attitude. This covers everything. It motivates you to love, win others and everything you do for Christ. Your passion for the word of God. That means you have to know the word of God. Your passion for soul winning. It will rob off on your members. They should notice your passion for giving. Let them see your passion for our ministry and our man of God. Constantly making reference to what you learnt from the man of God.

Your members should observe your excellent life in Christ. It takes effort. Are you detailed, thorough? Being effect is part of excellence. Your output should be excellent. Work to make your members spiritual strong, vibrant, healthy and that every member of the cell is a soul winner, constantly sharing testimonies of victories and great exploits. And all you need to achieve this is to teach them the word of God.

2 Timothy 2:2 KJV [2] And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

1. It's your responsibility to show the way, path, think and see things. You can help them change with the word of God. The word is the mirror, show it to them they would see the difference and be able to change their ways.

2. It's your responsibility to pray for the growth of the church and For the growth of your cell. It's your responsibility to invite the unchurched to come to church and then you inspire your members to do the same.

John 1:40-46

3. It's your responsibility to invite, follow up and integrate new embers into your team.

Acts 15:36

4. Use your gifts and talents to bless the church.
5. It's your responsibility to live a godly life and give regularly.
6.It's your responsibility to attend church regularly.
7. It's your responsibility to follow the leadership of the church, be a strong supporter. Don't distance yourself from the pastor.
8. It's your responsibility to run with the vision of the ministry. Understand the vision clearly.
9. Always present yourself of a noble ambassador of this great nation. A true representative, full of the Holy Ghost.

ICLC Day 2 Morning
Seminar with Pastor Vale Odu-Thomas

The second day of the International Cell Leaders’ Conference (ICLC) 2014 is already off to an inspiring start, broadcasting from global stage at the LoveWorld Convocation Area to every continent of the world.

Following the deeply profound introductory message on the passion of Jesus during last night’s opening ceremony with Rev. Chris Oyakhilome PhD, delegates resumed Day 2’s morning session afire and hungry for God’s word Based on expectations gathered from the global audience, it is easy to tell that the delegates are ignited with the tools for the work of the ministry.

Moderating today’s morning session was the Zonal Director of Christ Embassy Port Harcourt Zone 3, Pastor Joy Amenkhienan. Sessions of intense prayers and uplifting praise led the congregants into a special seminar by the esteemed Zonal Director of Christ Embassy Lagos Zone 2. Pastor Vale Odu-Thomas.

Teaching on the Cell Leader’s Tool Kit; and starting his reading from 2 Timothy 2:15, Pastor Vale stated the cell ministry manual as the very first too that must be in every cell leader’s tool kit. Emphasizing how key the training manual is to having a successful and effective cell ministry, he showed delegates how it answers the who, what, how, when and where of the cell ministry. In more of his remark on this, he stated, “There is no aspect of the cell ministry that is not addressed in the cell ministry manual.”

To the delight of the several thousands participating, Pastor Vale Odu-Thomas imformed all delegates that the cell ministry manual has been updated and will be launched during the IClC 2014 and made available on CECLF Online website.

The second in the list is the cell register. This register captures the Cell details. The first and foremost thing captured in the register is the cell attendance. This helps both the cell leader and the pastor monitor happenings within that cell.

The third is the Bible study Outline. The outline guides the bible study class. The bible study preparatory class with Pastor is not just for your members but for you first as a Christian before your members.

The forth is ministry materials. Just like a doctor listens to the sick with the intention of recommending drugs, so the cell leader listens to his or her members with the intention of prescribing ministry materials. How are you going to know which to recommend if you have not listened to them? Every cell leader should be a moving ministry material bookshop.

The next is New Media. We are in the age where everything is online.

ICLC 2014 DAY 4
(SUNDAY MORNING) WITH PASTOR CHRIS
HE MANDATE.

He gave us His prove of righteousness, an expression of God's righteousness, so I can be in-passion.
The most important things in your life is to love Jesus, to become passionate. (1 timothy 2:5-6). 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

The mandate is the command, the authoritative command to tell it, to preach His word to the utter-most part of earth, His message is the
MESSAGE OF LIQUID LOVE
MESSAGE OF FORGIVENESS
MESSAGE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.
(2 John 14-15). If you love me, keep my commandments.
So I found the love of Jesus and it became my driving force, He told me to tell you of His liquid love, He told me to tell you that He died in your place,He told me to tell you that He had paid for your righteousness, He said He has gaven up Himself for you, that you don't need to walk in sin, that's the message of salvation.

You can't love Jesus and be quiet about His Gospel, because He said to know Him is to love Him, and to love Him is to announce His Name. That love should compelled you.
Galatian 1-16. To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
The beautiful things about Jesus is that He does not only reveal Himself to you, or around you, but He revealed Himself through you, in you.

Love Him with a passion, with boldness, and consciousness and prove it by doing His Word. To love Him is not only to preach His word but to act on His word.
Without His salvation there's no hope for ever, that's why He brought me to you to preach and tell you His Word.
His already in you, all you need is to connect with Him on the inside, come in contact with Him on the inside, because the greatest thing in life is inside you.

You're not of yourself, you now live for Him, there's someone who say am hot temper, even there are a lot of people who says am strict, that's why people don't like to work with me.
(2 Corinthians 5-14-15). For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: 15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

The moment you receive Christ salvation into your Spirit, you've lost your personality in the world, you now live His life, I'm talking about my love for Christ, constrained me, compelled us and if you truly love Jesus you can't live for yourself anymore, you don't live to please yourself, but you live to please Jesus.
You don't need to be successful for anyone irrespective of who it may be, you're called to be successful for Jesus, because He has the legal right to ask you if you lived for Him.
Because He died for you, He paid for your righteousness, when you say you've given your life to Christ, it means you're not of yourself anymore, you have no ambition again in the world.

Many have never fulfilled what they are called to live for in life because they never fulfill God's plan in their life.
What He made you for, nothing that you ask God that He doesn't give you answer before you ask, even before you thought of it, He has given you the right answer before asking anything from Him.

Let Jerusalem come to your mind, have that consciousness of the Master, it's called living with the King, not because of you, but because of that thing in you.
So let His Word be your number drive, let it be your priority, let it compel you, to preach and announce His undying love to the lost, let then know the true purpose of Christ death and His resurrection.

Free to Like, Comment and Share. God bless you
