PRAYING BY THE RULES.

“I would order my cause before Him and fill my mouth with arguments, I would know the Words which He would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me’’. (Job 23 vs4-5)

Practice talking sessions on your own. These are classic moments when you take time to communicate the Word of God to your spirit and make yourself sure about what GOD says about you.
Remember the Word of God on the lips of faith is God himself talking. You don’t have to be spooky about it or just do it disorderly. This is an organised time you set aside in your day to orient and order the course of your life with your mouth. The Bible says 'the power of Life and death lies in the tongue and those that love it shall eat the fruits thereof.' This simply means all the Words spoken, good or bad can yield what they planted.

Take time and search the scriptures which addressed the specific case you are dealing with. You can list them down, put them on your desktop or tablet, or any hearing gadget, that’s if you have an audio Bible. At this moment, you will be gathering evidence like a lawyer would before going to court. No lawyer goes to court having not gathered all the facts of the matter, otherwise, they risk humiliating themselves and their clients. So gather all the facts. It’s wrong for you to start praying with no clear cut argument. You want to be heard? Think of a lawyer who comes to court with no argument prepared. This is what Job is calling 'filling his mouth with arguments.' It does not mean disagreeing with God, but there he coined in a legal term ’argument’, meaning facts and evidence a lawyer takes to court to defend his client.

For any lawyer to present a meaningful defence of their client they normally also read the constitution and know what the Law says about that specific matter. What does the judge say?  He also takes time to look at how the specific judge has dealt with similar cases in the past. Before you go into prayer and talk the word, presenting your argument you're going to have to know again how God dealt with related issues in the past. In the text above, Job said," I know the Words which he would answer me and understand what he would say to me". The Word of God is His response to anything you will face. Before you even start in prayer get God's response to the situation.

If you are not able to speak the Scriptures by heart yet, remember it's very good to have your Bible open or your notebook while you pray. Prayer times are organised moments of communion with the Father. God hears you even when you are whispering.
