FINANCE CONVENTION 2016, DAY 3

Ecclesiastes 2:26KJV

For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.

God gives wisdom, knowledge and joy to the good but to the sinner, God gives 'suffer-head'. To gather but for the purpose that He might give it to the one who is good before God. What makes me good in God's sight is because He sees me through Jesus Christ. 

Job 36:11NLT

Financial prosperity is not a miracle to the child of God. You can have a financial miracle. Divine health is not a miracle but divine healing could be a miracle. 

Galatians 3:13-14KJV

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Only the Jews were under the curse of the law. They are the ones that were redeemed from the curse of the law.

Galatians 4:4-5

4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

I don't mean to be nasty about any group of Christian, but I have to tell you the truth. Really, the Christian is not the Redeemed. From what was he redeemed? 

Now this doesn't mean you should make jest of anyone who says he is from the Christian Redeemed whatever. This is just for your use. 

What is the blessing of Abraham? Is it the promise of the Holy Spirit? That's not it. What then is it? Let's go to Genesis 17:5-8KJV

5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.

7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

Genesis 12:1KJV

1 Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

This is the blessing of Abraham that we just read about. 

The physical Jews need to set their foot on a land before they can take over that land but Jesus has taught us the power of Words. We just speak. 

The seeds of Abraham are kings. There is a way kings talk and thinks. Don't allow just any thought. You are a king. Imagine you were thinking like this for 25years!

Lets study about King Solomon from 1 King 3:9KJV

9 Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?

10 And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.

11 And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment;

12 Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.

13 And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days.

14 And if thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will lengthen thy days.

There are some that don't value what God has given them. Everything is little to them. They are always like 'me, cell leader? I should have been a Pastor by now'. 

When you speak, what does God think about your words. He was pleased with the Words of Solomon. Don't ask for the lives of your enemies. God blessed Solomon for not asking for the lives of his enemies. 

That's the wisest man before Jesus showed up. Jesus was not a wise man, He is wisdom. 

Learn to ask the right things when you do. But I am thinking, what are you going to ask God for if you are to ask? He said, all things are yours! What more, than 'all things'  do you need?

2 Corinthians 4:13KJV

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

We don't speak so we can believe, No, we believe, that's why we speak. It's from inside, out.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18KJV

16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

How do you believe what is not seen, it means, it's real somewhere. You bring it into existence physically by looking at it from your Spirit. 

When God said, give and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed down,  shaken together and running over. It's what you give that men will give to you. If you always give love, that's what you will receive. Hugs, kisses, flowers. You can even be in financial challenge and they will come, but only with plaques and designer cup from Spain; in good measure. 

Start sowing financial seeds, joyfully, and with expectations from God. Be a real and excited giver. Some people were givers, big time givers but they stopped. They will say that they have learnt their lessons. They gave and gave until all was gone but no one remembered them now that they don't have. But that's their mistake. Just when the blessing was just about to come, they stopped giving. There are times that until everything is gone, the new ones cannot come in. 

Everyone who is born again is blessed with the blessings of Abraham. The promise is unto them. God wants you to be prosperous all the time. Everything you have is a miracle seed. Never argue with God whenever He asks you to give anything.

6 Take a lesson from the ants, you lazy fellow. Learn from their ways and be wise! 7 For though they have no king to make them work, 8 yet they labor hard all summer, gathering food for the winter. 9 But you—all you do is sleep. When will you wake up?

The wise man saves for the future, but the foolish man spends whatever he gets.

Principle of Saving. 

Principle No 1.

Spend less than you earn. With this you will have some to save. Don't depend on money to do everything you want to do, depend on God. No matter how small; save.

Prosperity is not about what you have. It's in your spirit. 

Three Important things about saving. 

--- Long term saving, 

--- Short term saving and

--- Saving for everyday use. 

If you know these saving skills, learn to mentor people. If you make success only yours, it will not last. Mentorship is part of giving. The more you give, the more you receive. 

Learn to do one of two things or both. 

Learn to invest your money. It can be in someone's business. 

Learn the power of collaboration. Imagine having 5 friends ready with 500,000 each and you decide to put the money together and buy a property then when the property appreciate, you sell it and share the money. Leave the shiny cars for now. Sooner or later, they will come. I am glad we have young people here, young people take this thing very serious.

Put your money where it can work for you. 

Now own a business.

What are your friends for? 

Now something very important is record keeping. If I ask you, how much you spent last month, you probably don't know. Be specific. Have your figures right. This is going to help you know where to make changes.
