Leaders and Partners from over 16 countries in the Southern Africa region (including Angola,Malawi, Zimbabwe,Swaziland and South Africa, to name a few) were ecstatic and full of expectations as they participated in this conference. Delegates at the arena of the luminous Coca-Cola Dome have basked in refreshing times of praise and worship with much rejoicing in the Lord.
In the opening address by the Regional Pastor of the Southern Africa region, Pastor Ose Oyakhilome, she emphasized the exploits that have been accomplished all year long within the region. Spurring the attendees on she said, " this conference is an opportunity to unleash a special grace upon you, which will uplift you and cause you to increase in grace for more fruitfulness and productivity in the work of the ministry."
In the magnificent opening ceremony, characteristic of d BLW Southern Africa region, the delegates erupted to the flamboyant sequence of the life -transforming musical and dramatic ministrations. Elevated by perfectly synchronized choreography from the diverse nationalities and cultures of d Southern African Region, the brethren celebrated God's favour!
As the President of the BLW Nation ascended the podium, attendees erupted with overwhelming shouts of Joy. Every heart and mind was ready to receive the undiluted word of God, for greater exploits in Life and ministry.
Expounding on the scriptures in Mark 11:23, Rev Chris Oyakhilome, charged the delegation of Southern Africa Leaders and Partners with several nuggets on faith and christian living saying "let your need trigger your faith...let your need excite you.
At the opening session of SALPC 2014, the Man of God, Pastor Chris, encouraged the brethren, reminding them that challenges in their path are custom to them. Pastor Chris said , "you are not (just) going to run free.... No, its not God's will. As he spoke, faith was stirred in the hearts of the leaders and partners to face the challenges in there paths and win.
Pastor Chris went on to say "it doesn't matter what he ( the devil) is wearing, you say "in the name of Jesus Christ, get out of my way".
Pointing it out that as a divine calling, Pastor Chris charged the SALPC 2014, delegates to prove the perfect will of God, the Father, in their lives and circumstances. He said, "we are the ones to prove that this is the good will, acceptable will and perfect will of God.""
With progressive revelations at the SALPC 2014 first session, the attendees rejoiced,receiving every word into their hearts. Doubtless, it was a fulfilling end to a glorious start of the conference.
