The Key To A Successful Life

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8)

This scripture is the key to a successful life. It says, “this book of the law shall not depart from your mouth”, not “from your heart”. This means you must continually talk the Word. That’s what it means to meditate on the Word; it connotes muttering or speaking the

PRAISE YOUR WAY IN VICTORY

Along about midnight, Paul and Silas were at prayer and singing a robust hymn to God. The other prisoners couldn’t believe their ears (Acts 16:25 MSG).

I knew a long time ago that wherever I am is God’s headquarters, because Jesus said He and the Father would make their abode in the heart of the one who loves Him and keeps His Word. As I meditated on this several years ago in prayer, loving Jesus became so real to my spirit, and I understood what Paul meant when He said, "For the love of Christ constraineth us…" (2 Corinthians 5:14). What He meant was that our love for Christ compels us.
