Life Through Jesus Christ

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son (1 John 5:11).
If you’re born again you have the God-life in you; this is a statement of fact; God has set His seal to this. Notice the tenses in our opening verse: "And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life…." He isn’t trying to, hoping to or planning to; He’s already done it. You have eternal life now.

Don’t Stop at the Prophesy

Don't Stop At Prophesy
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith (Romans 12:6). Sometimes, some Christians wonder how come they prophesied that something was going to happen and it didn’t happen, and then they concluded that maybe it was a false prophecy after all. Not necessarily. Let’s learn from the Prophet Elijah: there had been no rain for three and a half years, then suddenly he prophesied to King Ahab ;get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain(1 Kings 18:41).

Discipline Your Mind For Success

Train me, GOD, to walk straight; then I’ll follow your true path. Put me together, one heart and mind; then, undivided, I’ll worship in joyful fear (Psalms 86:11 MSG).

When you want to chart a new course, create new vistas, attain a new level of prosperity, or set new goals for growth, you have to learn to use your mind. Your mind is a tool that can be disciplined. You can teach it to focus in one direction, instead of vacillating in thoughts. This way, you’ll be able to use your mind to prepare your heart to accomplish greater things.
